Where is everybody?

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I can't pronounce most of them. thats why I stay of some of the plant forums. I specially can't spell them with out looking them up.

Dunnellon, FL(Zone 9a)

haha except roses are red and violets are blue...

(Zone 7b)

Okay here we go again Where is everybody Part 2 ????

Cleveland,GA/Atlanta, GA(Zone 7b)

I'm here, but thought I was inconsequential because I did not have chickens. I thought this might be a thread for "Gardeners Who Knew Stuff About Gardening But Did Not Know Squat About Chickens And Wanted To Learn While Sharing Garden Info". In all fairness, this was a shout out to fellow chicken heads. After all, this is the chicken forum. I have enjoyed the sharing and thanks.

I'm here now! Home from class!

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I am here! Have feed the flying squirrels and we are inside and warm.

Lodi, United States

Hey, I don't mind flower-talk. I just don't think anyone wants to hear about all the ones I've killed:0)

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Wren, you should come up here and adopt the sugar glider from my local shelter. It is very cute.

Catscan, how are your eggs?

I have two pipped nankins.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I do not think the sugar glider would survive the fuzzy demon child of mine. The flying squirrels are wild and up in the trees.

(Zone 7b)

Well i had been reduced to playing spore and watching lipstick jungle because there wasn't anybody to talk too.

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Hmmmm....what is spore and what is lipstick jungle?

(Zone 7b)

spore is a game where you create creatures and lipstick jungle is a TV show with 3 woman and their rich, dirty, live's.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

????? I am almost always here except when I am playing my games.

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Wow, I think I want to play spore.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I think I am going to call it a nite. Y'all have a good one.

Sandy

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

G'night Wren! Sleep tight. Dream of chickens!

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I will I so wish I could have a few. Would love pheasants.

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Have you seen the stealth coop? It looks like a garbage can! It's excellent for hiding chickens in urban environments.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I live on a corner on the main road for our small neighborhood. Back yard is to small, would have to be side yard so would not work. Beside until I get my shoulders fixed I could not care for them. So I will just have to drool over all y'all animal. Would really love to have a lama.
Sandy

(Zone 7b)

Sorry i went to bed fell asleep watching the news it is quite boreing.

Claire you can buy spore at any electronics store got mine at Walmart.

Wren i been thinkin about Pheasants too.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Those books I posted a wall back have a lot of good ideas , also very good reading. These people raised rare pheasants and all kinds of ducks. One of the problems they had was with the males attacking the females. If I remember right they designed a + shaped pens and had brush piles. I will have to go back and reread them..

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

I need good vibes this way, EVERYTHING has gone to heck in a hand basket. No birds sick or dying, so it is not that, just something stupid I have done. I thought I was helping. I am a drama/disaster magnet.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Hugs, good vibes, and prayers going your way

(Zone 7b)

So am I Luvs Don't feel by yourself everytime i open my mouth i trip over my tongue and have to tote a broom and shovel with me just to clean up the messes i make.

Reving up and sending powerful vibes your way!

Newton, AL

Harmony / Wren, when do you have time to watch TV? I am lucky to shave my legs once a week. the only time I can get on the computer is to check my email before work and when I get home before I start work again. then I try to study, care for the critters, grab a bowl of cerial and go to bed. I am going to get fat eating so late. No time to play. I miss play. I think I remember how. I think I was 14 when I played last. before I got a full time job.

Cleveland,GA/Atlanta, GA(Zone 7b)

Shave your legs once a week? Who has time for that? Remember the Big Foot sightings a few months ago in N. GA? That was me!
Laurel

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I gave up shaving my leg a long time ago. I am disable I am doing good to weed 5 minutes. I grow almost everything in pots so I do not bend over. I can still ride my bike and care for my dog. I spend a lot of time on my rump playing on the computer.

Cleveland,GA/Atlanta, GA(Zone 7b)

Thank goodness for DG, There are thousands here in the same situation, Wren. Sounds like you are doing great and using your abilities to the max..
Laurel

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

yes DG has made the days much better. I have not laughed as much in years. Specially on this forum and the pets. Thank you all.

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

HA! Just love the topics you gals get off to.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Well my poor brain jumps all over the place. Beside verity is the spice of life.

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

I'm just glad that being "busy" is my new excuse for not shaving my legs, ha! At least DH doesn't mind. :-)

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I never had a lot of hair on my legs and hated skirts or dresses so was no problem. I am doing better than the doctors said I would so I am happy. Just keeping on trucking.

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

Did you have an accident? How far out are you from it? My DH had a rock climbing accident 2 months ago and is currently rehabilitating. So I feel for you.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Couple of accidents-fell off a horse in 1980 took me 10 years to find a doctor who would listen to me, I could touch my toes and a doctor told me that I should not be able to bend over and touch my knees and another doctor said I would be in a wheelchair in ten years that was almost 30 now.

Had a small tv fall off a shelf in a small RV and land on my head and massed up my neck

Car accident in 1997 and still getting over that and add bad knees, falling and taring rotary cup in left shoulder making two bad shoulders and the latest falling flat on my face sunday.

In other words I am an accident looking for some where to happen

(Zone 7b)

I'm with you wren i never shaved my legs but once and i cut my leg and that was it i wasn't.
I don't have much hair on my legs either.

Newton, AL

wow wren. remind me to walk on the other side of the street when you are around. YOU ARE an accident waiting to happen. That's horrible. It's a miracle you are still getting around at all. Any one of those accidents could have done you in.
As for the saving my legs thing. My husband appreciates it when I don't look like a yetti. Every now and then, I let them go a little too long and he make the Yetti yell at me. I can kinda figure out that I need to drag a razor over them.
Don't your husbands mind the fuzzy legs?

(Zone 7b)

Mine Knows better than to say anything i told him their my legs.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I am lucky I do not have a husband. I use to joke that I had a RV to take all my money, cats to dictate to me, a dog to aggravate me and if I wanted to be around kids I would borrower my nephews and when I was tired of them throw them back.

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Kelly doesn't mind too much although he occasionally calls me cactus. I do it every 3 or 4 days in summer, but in winter, to heck with it. Once a week is good, once every 2 weeks is more normal for me! LOL! I do the armpits more frequently though because I wear a lot of sleeveless tops because I am always hot when everybody else is cold.

Wren - you are an inspiration! I suggest wearing a suit of armor from hereon out though, just in case.
