CLOSED: Unknown tarantula

My wife and I were hiking outside of Payson, AZ and cam across this tarantula. Does anybody know what Genus and species it is? I looked in BugFiles and only found a few tarantulas and this was not one of them.

With some 30 species of tarantulas known to occur in Arizona, it's not surprising that you didn't find an exact match. Your wandering male (note the long pedipalps) likely is a species of Aphonopelma - see http://www.minaxtarantulas.se/fieldherping/usa05/stor/a_behlei.jpg for an image of Aphonopelma behlei.
