This has somewhat transparent wings as you can see a bit of it.

Dinu, I cannot identify your bugs, but I am pretty sure I can point you to the right families. #1 is almost certainly a true stink bug in the Pentatomidae.
#2 is not a bug but a beetle and I think it is probably one of the leaf beetles in the family Chrysomelidae,

The leaf beetle is a tortoise beetle. These beetles comprise a polyphyletic group of tribes now placed in the subfamily Hispinae; they formerly were placed in a subfamily of their own, Cassidinae - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tortoise_beetle. At least one researcher in India specializes in their taxonomy - see http://www.ncbi.org.in/cv/nilesh.html

Here is one more.

In fact, suunto, that researcher happens to have worked in a sister laboratory of ours. I've been there too a few times. I've dropped an e-mail to him hoping he is still working there.

This is a thick bug, brown. It gave me just this pose before escaping by suddenly dropping itself like a stone beneath the foliage!

Beautiful photos, that first one particularly is stunning! Your latest post looks like some kind of shield bug, I've noticed they do that 'play dead' thing when disturbed!
