Sometimes if you start a thread and I (speaking for myself) am caught up in a bunch of other threads, I don't get a chance for a day or two to read the new threads.. maybe you might want to stop into a top thread and see if thats where everybody is and let us know you need help.

That's the problem--it is porous--which is nice in the summer, but the drip, drip, drip starts to wear over the eons.

A home that grows with you?! I wouldn't recommend eons, though. Not if you plan on being a good CHickymomma!

I like to make long term plans when I'm thinking rocks. That is why I like basalt. Limestone is more of a summer vacation home sort of stone. Although the Egyptians did some nice work with it that has held up pretty well, all things considered.

You are REALLY into big projects!! We could probably fit more than just a few of us under the Sphinx, though...and a few chickens...

Drats!!! I can't ever be a commander then ( no chickens ) lol. How about KPO - kitchen patrol officer? I can watch out for cupcake mutinies or make sure there are enough cinnamon buns with pe-cahns on top for all.

Debilu, you have to be hatching eggs to be a commander. However, you are entitled to another title that you can choose. Jan was creative with her title. You are more than welcome to suggest a title and we will approve it for you, if it's appropriate. You can't be something like "Overlord of the Chicken Lands Debilu" because that would be pretentious and obnoxious.

I think that is an excellent title, Jan.

We need a KPO badly--Commander/CPO Moxon has shown very little restraint in the introduction of potentially dangerous foods into hatching actions. She recently promoted the addition of maple syrup--and then had to retroactively warn against applying it to the chicks.

Depends...What are your freezer chickens doing?? As long as you can convince us they need supervision, we're in. (more than likely easy to convince too, lol) What sort of mission do you command?
