The Eastern Bluebirds continue to delight us everyday! It has been months since I fell in love with these beautiful birds and have been so fortunate to have them use the nestbox this year and also the bird bath. They are also coming daily and feasting on the fruit and nuts we have provided for them. Next week I will be receiving 10,000 mealworms and I hope to surprise them with their very own Happy Meal!!
The Bluebirds are clean little birds and we usually see them morning and evening taking baths. I hope you enjoy these pics that I took last evening of two of them.
The first is a male who was having a grand ole time splishing and splashing!
Beautiful Bluebirds Bathing!
Beautiful pics Rose! They are such cuties!
Wow, great pictures. Love the bluebirds.
Pic number 2 is the prize winner!!! GM
Rose, thanks for sharing those gorgeous little birds with us. I can understand why you love them so much.
Those are great pics. You should enter them in the calender contest.
Beautiful, dellrose. I love that last one. I like seeing the wing action
They are such sweet birds, wish I had some around me!
Very nice series Rose.
Dave
Thanks Dave...so nice to see you! I miss seeing your Blues!
Those are great shots Dave and I would love to see the rest of them...I know you have more, don't make me beg! LOL!
haha. DUNK That head, Mr. Bluebird!
I saw all these BBs at Mom's property on Saturday. I was assuming they bath and drink at the creek. I sure wish I could catch a bird doing that there. She doesn't have a bird bath for them at the house, which is probably wise since she has outdoor cats.
Really enjoyed your picks of the blue birds rose. I live in southern Ontario, and have never had the pleasure of seeing anyof these little beauties. Do you or anyone else know if they spend their summers up this way too?
