Question on lily seeds

Arcata, CA(Zone 9b)

After you let your lily seeds dry, can you plant immediately or do they need to go into the refrig., for a period of time... Orienpet type
Thanks

Most will germinate like trumpet seeds, immediate epigeal. You can plant them now if youn so desire. If they don't germinate after 2-3 months, then give them a cold spell, 2-3 months.

Thanks for the information.

Pard, if they are IE, wouldn't that be 2-3 weeks (or a month), rather than 2-3 months for them to germinate?

I have had OT seeds germinate sporadically over a period of a couple of months. My Silk Road X (RCA X RCC) was like that. I couldn't help but be tickled each time another one showed up. The other part of the equation (cool for a couple of months); I have not personally experienced that but have heard that some OT seeds can behave like that (delayed hypogeal).

You're more experienced than I, Pard. Thanks for the clarification.
