Here's my "hair farm" LOL!

For the first time, I'm going to be bringing my heads to market! I currently sell them now on Dave's Marketplace unplanted, but this is going to be the best though as I've been cultivating hair plants! Not only that...My gals are going to be dressed up! Found a lady on Ebay who sells $2.00 necklaces (actually, some of them are kind of nice...I might wear them myself until the sale! hahahaha!)

Things are getting a little full here in the potting area. I just LOVE this space though! This is my refuge when I'm not at work!

Don and I went to this amazing plant sale at Tropiflora in Sarasota on Saturday.Came home with a truckfull of plants! The wind has been blowing like a maniac these past couple of days...blew this lovely plant over and when I picked it up I couldn't believe the blooms! For now, I'm going tol leave it to do it's own thing, but in the future I'm thinking of planting it with someting else.

I'm in Love with Pony Tail palms and just happened to find this little guy at the Sarasota sale...I so want to plant him with some great underplantings but unfortunately he loves to be in a crowded pot, doesn't want much water and is pretty low maintenance...maybe a few nice succulent companions!

jlp222...You sure sent me some great seeds! They're a foot tall now! Just transplanted them into larger pots and hopefully they will trail over my potting area pergola...they sure have a great scent too!

A little diversion here...some tomato plants I've been babying from infancy! Something was eating the lower leaves and a fellow DG'r advised me to plant marigolds around the base...so far it's worked great! I Love Marigolds, but they sure small bad! Obviously the bugs feel the same! haha

what a cheerful sight

Beautiful! I've planted a lot of my pots, but they're all jumbled together from when I had to cover them due to freezing temps this week. I'll get 'em finished and post some photos after 4/15. Less than a week to go! (of course that's good AND bad - still around 200 returns in that aren't finished)

Wish I was close enough to pick up a couple of your head planters, KatG.

Kat...Inspiring as usual ^_^...Especially when I am still trying to entice thre feet of snow to melt faster!

The passiflora is gorgeous!
What is the blue plant on April 8 in Post #6385372?

The containers are as gorgeous as ever, I'm still trying to get mine all planted. At least this year I get to start earlier than usual. Tina

Awwwwwwww...Thank you so much for the compliments everybody. I sure hope your weather starts behaving so that you can get out there and start creating!

Chocolatemoose: That's the most incredible plant - one day blooms but it just keeps on blooming. It's called a Giant Apostle "Iris Walking" plant...so cool! The blooms are just amazing.

Tina: You're getting closer! Hehe. Good for you!

My passion flower bloomed again today - I didn't realize they were one day blooms! What a shame. However, the scent is just heavenly...smells like Johnson's baby powder!

I think I've posted a photo of the bakers rack I had in my Lizard Lounge loaded with all kinds of succulents. I just loved that rack, but today I happened to move it a bit and the leg crumbled off. Not good! Because it had glass shelves, I was really a little worried that it was just going to crumble and it would be one heck of a clean-up, not to mention all the plants falling. SO, I dismantled everything and put it out in the trash.

Everything I have around here that's iron is disintegrating. It's the Salt-water that's really the culprit. I didn't have anything to put these plants on, but had this rack in the house that I wasn't crazy about since I bought it, and moved it outside! hehe. I probably should give it a coat of laquer or something, but it will do fine until I find something to replace it...

It really is cute!
