Pics of My Hoophouses for Luvs
what I was thinking was burying the cinder blocks a bit so to help keep the digging and scratching down a bit. But of course mine would not be moved around per say.
Somebody said Pheasant OH! i have been coveting those birds from afar for 2 years and afraid to take the plunge.
I think burying the cinder blocks is a very good idea protection from termite's and cut down on the digging and will lower it a little. GOOD IDEA Luvs
I will have to wait until my pox is under control i don't dare move even a feather right now.
But i have the plans Thanks!!
I dont dig down to bury, I place what ever is on bottom and then get the tractor and build up the base. Thanks to hubby i have a very large dirt pile to get from.
frans530,
Sorry been out all afternoon and rushed to feed and water everyone so this is my first chance to sit at the computer. I think that thread might have been on GW. They built a kneewall (called this cause the height is usually up to your knee) from cinder blocks (or cement blocks) all around the perimeter of the GH leaving an opening for a doorway. They attached the cattle panels to the top of the kneewall (this could be done using plumber's metal straps, inexpensive stuff). The plastic went over this. I don't remember how they attached the plastic film.
Fran I'm out of daylight for that picture. Sorry.
