THANK YOU!

Beautiful! I have only seen a few photo's of Russian AV's but they are usually huge and really pretty! LOL, I think I'd have to give that one a nickname, maybe "Rossi".

Good thing you mentioned they were your favorites Gail. It reminded me that I hadnt put any leaves down. People will be wanting this one in the spring!

Your picture thread sounds like fun, however, after Xmas would be a better time!

That one is pretty! And thanks to Gail, I've got 2 of them . . . just waiting for them to bloom. Actually, I think one of them did once, but just the once.

that's Obsidian, obviously because she is black. We found her on a snowy winter day in dec 1991! The vet told us she was in the last stages of starvation & we couldnt save her because she would eat. So we fed her dime sized meals around the clock & she is still with us today. she is called OBie for short. She is one of ten household rescue cats. Here she is without the strep!

She is a beauty!

Wow! Ten rescue cats? You are an angel! We had five at one time but are down to three now. All of ours have been strays/rescues too. We have one ("Cali") who is the sweetest cat we've ever had in our household. She will be 15 in July. When we found her we thought she was a kitten. She was so starving, very thin ... but craved attention. We called the vet right away and he told us to isolate her from the rest of the cats until we could get her in the next day. When they examined her they estimated her age at @ a year old ... she was pregnant and (don't mean to be so graphic here but know of no other way to say it) all the fetuses were dead and decaying inside her. Her babies had probably starved and she was starving as well. The vet said if we had not gotten her in when we did, she would have died. She has the sweetest disposition and I think she is just as thankful to be here as we are to have her here.
