Silkie can you post a side shot of your birchen cochin please. I have 2 that look close to your guys color and someone told me they were partridge, and they just dont have the right colors for that. Plus these guys are 3 months old and bigger than the 9 month old ones I have.
mine is black with silver/white colored hackles and he has an awesome green sheen to him. partridge would be brown with green sheen and black stripes on feathers if i remember right. he hides and don't like his pic taken,lol.
