any luck with bird of paradise seeds

i just started some bird of paradise seeds . i was wondering if any one has had any luck or helpful hints

Have patience, patience and more patience. I soak and nick mine a touch and then plant and put the tray in a baggy in just a barely moist soil cuz they wil be in baggy for so long and wil mold otherwise. Then put where they gonan get lots of heat and sun and wil take usually a month to two months before they germinate.

thanks . i they are in those peat cups but im gonna switch them today into a better draining cup ... they are in a south window on a heating pad .. i read they get mushy before they germ if they are too wet .
