We saw these down the shore the other day and were told what they are but I can't remember now.

They said they are not native and were brought in with some type of tree.

I think their so pretty.

They're Ailanthus webworm moths, Atteva punctella. They always remind me of Hawaiian shirts.

I remembered the shirt but not who did it. Good job! Probably some designer somewhere is drawing inspiration from moths. There's a lot to choose from.
