Hi Joseph,

The first of the seeds that I got from you is flowering, flowers sure are beautiful, just thought that I would share, looks like the grasshoppers liked it as well and had a nibble, A very beautiful morning glory as they all are.

Annette - Your bloom looks very much like Ten Ten. Here is a photo in my blog of Ten Ten: http://davesgarden.com/community/blogs/i/49913/

Beautiful bloom! I see the name (number), are these some sort of cross Joseph?

The flower is from JMG Q751, which is a code number for the strain. "Ten Ten" was a name made up by Komeri for eBay marketing.

Annette, you have a nice one there, nice big reddish marks on the flower! Mine are more lilliputian in comparison. LOL

I love it Joseph, geeze are there a lot of confusion especially if they are renamed for marketing yikes.

Annette very nice bloom.

Ron !
question : Ten Ten it's not from KiKyosaki family ( picotee ) ?
MG Q751 is a mutation of Ten Ten or a crossing ?This flower is more roundish

Annette how large it ' s , looks like no more than 2,5 inches
Thanks,

Dany - The red speckled Q751 often produces kikyo shaped flowers and the earlier photos are more kikyo shaped, but sometimes the Q751 is producing more rounded blooms...especially the later flushes as the plant matures...

maybe it is part of the genetic structure to produce some round blooms in addition to the kikyo shape...if the Q751 continues to produce a significant amount of rounded blooms then perhaps a re-consideration of referring to all of these as a kikyo will be in order...let's see if a round form of the Q751 is eventually isolated...

TTY,...

Ron

I found that the round Q751 flower has fine lines between the main ribs along which it seemed to "want" to split but hadn't; I don't know if there were both types of flowers on the same vine, however.
