Actually, I am headed straight to bed. I know it's early for you night owls but for us early birds, this is it. I've still got to get ready for the RU and get a facial, haircut, wardrobe overhaul, nails and pedicure before I show up. I thought this was supposed to be fun! I'm teasing, ain't gonna happen. Had to run to the dr today for me, and my poor fur baby wont let me leave his side for any length of time.... he's miserable right now, poor baby! so been busy all day. Dr gave me new pills that make me sleepy, so now at 6:30 Im struggling to keep my eyes open! UGH!
Okay I have a question... on 2 of my brugs I have a bunch of little baby buds all over the plant, went out there today and some of the buds have fallen off! why would this happen? does she need more osmocote or MG? or less water?
Peg go to the RU, that brug will bloom again, lol, I had that scary night blooming plant way back and you thought it was scary or was it Beckie, well I survived and went on vacation, but she did bloom the night before going on my trip. Hopefully you have more than one bloom on that bruggie!

Deb an RU is where we get together in central locations for trading each other plants, eating, socializing and talking gardening! They are so much fun, you should try to find one in your area! Peg is coming to Texas in a couple of weeks to attend one.

ohhhzzz thats right there was one close here last week but I had to uhm.... w@#k... it is kinda chilly out tonight, picking tomatoes and harvesting seeds and gazing at my first brug in the ground sheese! Came home to two new brugs

Yeah I get up with the DH (most days..LOL)..make his lunch have coffee with him and kiss him goodbye..
And off to work he goes... Then I try and catch up here but most mornings the ISP won't cooperate..
And then lay down for a little while more.....most days...LOL
6 days a week... Sunday I sleep in until my two GD's come up and get be out of bed...LOL
Gosh Phyllis, you are a MUCH better wife than I am if you get up at 4:30 for DH! I would pack his sandwich at night and have everything ready for him, but no way I would be up with him, LOL! I am NOT an early morning girl...Me and my Becky have that in common, I just don't do early mornings at all.......
I do.. My DH gets up at 4 am i get up at 5 am.. sheesh i AM "ZZING "ALREADY

my dh drives a tug pushing barges . i had to take him to louisville to get on the boat . he works 28 days on and 28 off . i thought it would get better but its more sad . we used to fight allot well bicker and get on each-others nerves. sometimes id be glad he was going . but we grew up i guess and now its really sad when he leaves . the next day i get back into my groove and its better .

oh Iris I feel for you! My DH has been leaving just for weekends to work on our vacation home. I cant stand it when he's gone! I couldnt even imagine him being gone for 28 days! I would be so lost! {{hugs}} to you.

Wolfie, you are so generous, I have 4 oclocks and Louise gave me some of the lime green leaf/bright HOT pink/fuscia colored bloom seeds at the MW RU, but I like them, you hotties need some, too! They are Easy and pretty. Kim, I'll try to find a day dreams cutting out there for you... Good Morning Hotties! Donna, so glad to know your out of prison. Hi to all the rest of the hotties! Wolf, I would love some of those 4 ' clocks but please don't think I have been ignoring y'all, but since the DH got the school bus driving job I have been the "Road Runner from well let's just say, I did not realize what a help the DH was in maintaining a house, a yard and a 22 month old sprinter. DH leaves the house at 5:30 am and although the mornings are okay, by the time he gets home in the morning, Amiyah may have been up an hour or two. It's the days she doesn't take a nap or when she does, I am rushing to finish up things before the cold sets in. But the afternoons are pretty tough. DH is gone anywhere from 4 to 5 hours and trying to take care of everything and run around after and entertain a 22 month is draining, to say the least. I am right now struggling to find the words from sheer exhaustion. So I am going to go sit on the couch and watch Matt and have a cup of coffee and listen to the monitor and hope, I have at least one hour before this all starts over again.
Brugs are doing fine in a bucket until DH comes home and we go to Home Depot for potting soil. I am sure hoping with that big picture window we installed last year that even in cold Minnesota, I will sure be watching for them blooms.

We love to share advice and sympathy. Bonnie hopefully your car will be back soon and it won't cost you an arm and a leg to get it fixed! Donna hope you are steadily improving! My brug flowers are still not fully open. Gonna go out today and move the group a little farther apart. I have them all bunched up to protect them from the wind we have been having. My seven foot tall brug has been having trouble staying upright lately since I repotted. It was rooted into the ground and that was holding it up. Now it just wants to lay down when we have wind. In the spring that is the first one going into the ground!

oh such pretty flowers this AM. Love that Iris...james that Plumie(?) looks very healthy and happy! Kim just LOVE that JMG, I have a pink one that looks that color but has the white rays in the flowers, no var. leaves though! Mine are sadly all done and I am collecting all the seeds now. Beckygardener sent me lots more JMG's to try next year. Beckygardener is such a generous lady! She sent me the brug seeds I grew this year and more for next year too!
