We found this bug in our bedroom in the caribbean. looks kinda like a scorpion but has no tail.

although very lik e a scorpion, your creature is a Pseudoscorpion. The Pseudoscorpions are a different order from the true scorpions, the Pseudoscorpionida, but are joined with scorpions (and spiders) in the class Arachnida: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudoscorpion
