I am almost ashame to ask this, but all my wintersweet rotted just above the crown.The seed , most all of them sprouted, and had two cottleaden that were dark green, but never put out permenant leaves.I managed to remove the only one that was left,(a late sprouter), and put it in a potting soil, because the Canadian peat that I seeded the batch in, seemed to hold moister.I had large cut outs around the cut off milk jug, but it stayed wet.Hopefully I can grow this one.Thank you.
