Here's a new spoof email from ebay

Kind of made me think it was legit . but I checked my ebay and i'm not suspended LOL


just wanted folks to know about it Don't click on any links in these kinds of emails. all emails from ebay will also be in your ebay messages. that's a good place to look at all your ebay messages instead of from your inbox.

I did not supply any of the links in this notice just to be on the safe side. this is what it said



subject notice said: Vero Notice" Ebay listings removed- user suspended

Another thing to watch for, there are hidden links in this email. Where ever you stick your curser at on this email and the hand appears instead of the curser then that's a link if you click on it, it's too late. IMMEDIATELy notify ebay and change your user and password to your ebay account ASAP.

This is a good email, almost fool proof with it's hidden links inside the email.

I also knew this wasn't sent by ebay because I have'nt sold on ebay in a while.

The subject was kind of weird though, I always check for patents on plants before I check, but there have been times I sold m ints on there before. Knew I had been had !! LOL

I also checked my messages on my ebay account and it looks like ebay emailed me and sent me my user name and password at my request. whcih I've never asked for. So I hve to ask my dh if he's asked for it, if not then I'll have to chance my password myself. No activity on my account though, nothing for sale or nothing bought other than by me.

Hackers etc, would just like to cuff them up along side their head. Nothing better to do with their skills other than to mess with peoples lives.

Need to arrest those folks and make them weed and till gardens etc.

I got the same type of e-mail supposedly regarding PayPal account. I knew something was fishy and reported it right away to PayPal through their real site. These hackers just want to get into your personal accounts so they can steal your identity and use your bank cards. They need to wear striped suits and break rocks on a chain gang!

We had the fake PayPal one once- scary.

That is scary. There are so many cons going on in e.mail.

You all need to forward those messages to ebay, and pay pal, so they can track them down. They like to find those nasty kind of people!

I used to get emails regarding my PayPal account.....long before I ever had one!
