I took this pic of mine today and was wondering if it is normal for the blooms to look like mine do?
My friends Merremia Aurea does not have the split petals like mine does.

SUNNYAZ - The Merremia aurea can have entire blooms or with split petals...the split petals seem to be less common...the blooms can be all yellow or have a bit of color at bottom of the tube...

I think the ones that you have there are the nicest looking ones that I have seen so far...

Hope they are producing lots of seeds...otherwise some hand pollination might help...

It has not produced seeds yet but, our weather is cooling down and I'm sure soon I will get seeds.
It is blooming like crazy right now and It has no doubt became my favorite vine in the garden.
