It survives here in West Texas.. comes back from re seeding in my pots in the spring after being left out in the winter... temps in the 20's... I start watering when I notice it growing.. until then.. just what water they get from rain or the sprinklers. I love it.. fills in a pot and all the different colors. Hardy plant. Heat tolerant for sure.

I forgot and left one in my glass greenhouse all summer on the floor with all the doors closed. Would you believe that thing survived? It must have been 130 or more in there and no water all summer! No wonder they make such good hanging baskets!
