Can you save Crocosmia seeds?

I know nothing about saving seeds from bulb plants. I figure they've got to be there for a reason... so does anyone know anything about saving Crocosmia seeds? My 'lucifer' plant looked like it was ready for a trim....

You sure can (she says eagerly waiting for some lucifer seed from a DG buddy in CO). It can be stored but supposedly better fresh. Warm germinater but slow (1 to 3 months) so I'm going to pot it up as soon as I get it.
