Vases and Containers

Blossombuddy, you have quite a collection.
Pasttime, I really like the silver one, that flowing shape is unique and right up my alley. Lucky to have such a splendid boss to share her treasures.

Watseka, IL(Zone 5a)

Still scrubbing... someone piled me up with dishes too! LOL!

I love this one from my late grandmother, Nana. It is wonderful. I have to take photos of others that mean a lot.

Love the vases, but love the lasagna even more, that is one of my favorites! Yours looks scrumptious, can you share some over at the cafe perhaps?

Watseka, IL(Zone 5a)

One lasagna coming up at the cafe NY!! Now you know what I have been having to scrub up while looking for more vases!

Here are two of my spring lid jars! And oh finally, we have found a McCoy!

Nice vases Blossom, love the jars, what will you do with those?
So this is the REAL McCOY! Beautiful shape and colour. I can't wait to see some flowers in your vases!! Thanks, glad you found them!

Watseka, IL(Zone 5a)

Well tada... found some more.. but oh no, no this is not a REAL McCoy, it is though a reproduction of one. Even though it says on the bottom.. the giveaway though is also it is not glazed to good on the bottom and it also says USA...!

I actually have a pair of these!

I like it, you have 2? Great! we have a 'TWINS' Themed thread for those!

Watseka, IL(Zone 5a)

What a fine shoe maker you are, did the elves help? LOL!

Um...... can't do links YET! But it's here honest!!!
spill the beans! is that a reverse picture or what?

Watseka, IL(Zone 5a)

Beans spilled....

(Do you know how hard it is to take a picture of your own hand and get it in focus!! LOL!)

See bottoms of vases.. how "crappy" the glaze is, that too is a dead giveaway that it is not the real MCCOY!

Yup two repos of one!! No trickwitchery photography here!

Hi Blossom!
Lovely PANK collection! would like a closer look at some!!! but will make do LOL!

So sorry about that miserable blurry pic of the PANK collection.. will try zooming in one some more as I get time! Here is the one you mentioned liking...it is by Covina Pottery. Pink is a fun color to get right.. NOT!

Yes, the mortarboard pallette container it holds that oasis. Just like yours. I was wrong on the taping too! I stuck a peice of oasis in mine and Jeez, how solid!! No taping needed! What was I thinking at the moment of that disscusion, who knows!! LOL! See, told you I had not used it! Learn something new every day!! If I only had a box of fresh flowers and foliage....{{{dreaming!!}}}.. I think I could have some fun with that critter!

Watseka, IL(Zone 5a)

A nice low arrangement for the black one perhaps?

Watseka, IL(Zone 5a)

Could be, but first thing popped into my head was tin-tin!! LOL! Awwww heck, I don't know.. will have to look in the flower shed for foliage and blooms....putting this one on hold!

Well I will be danged! The WD40 worked! I have tried for years scrubbing on that.. Someone had put a duct tape price sticker on it at an estate sale and really stained it! Now to get the WD off!

Tada!!!! Halfway!

Thumbnail by BLOSSOMBUDDY
Watseka, IL(Zone 5a)

Well, the good news is is the McCoys did not go out with the trash. The bad news is is they are tucked in the farthest corner of the storage room behind a huge pile of other things that I cannot move. OY.. Well thankfully we found them.

Guess I will be trying out that bow maker today though.. my luck, I found some ribbon!

Watseka, IL(Zone 5a)

Still having some others to show other than the McCoys. So it will be awhile on those.

Here is one of my favorite Napcos!
