۞ Lingernot/Staynot Gladomeer # 6 ۞

A long distant cousin to Staynot. Staynot is currently away and can't be found at the current time. Lingernot has volunteered to fill in until Staynot Returns.
Looks like were all Full on People playing, below are the rules and people involved:

You keep it for one week.
Must take a picture of the Gnome in your garden.
Sign a piece of paper with small note and place inside of Gnome.
Write your location at the bottom of his pedestal.
Post pictures and send the little guy to the next person.

Keep in mind we should keep all address off of this forum and just between the person who has it and the person who needs it.

ps. The Gnome I will be sending likes Tropicals and other Gnomes...

Beautiful Sunday, and Lingernot will be shown around the garden today.. or maybe I'll just let him sleep late! It was his first football game last night, and we kept him up till the early hours just recalling the game, and explaining the rules!

Slipperman, please, please, let us know why you're holding on to Staynot. Is it because you wished to clone him?

I fear for the safety of both slipperman and staynot. I hope that slipperman did not slip.

It's not only Papa Shadow that's worried sick about Staynot, but like Mrs. Ed says, us Aunties too.
Is Slipperman still a member, or has he slipped from DG?

Lingernot decide to pay the garden a little visit. It's cool and just perfect to say hello to Mimi and Momo, the garden's stone kids.

He stops under Temple Goddess blooms, trying to get that whiff of their fabled perfume. Told him, they are ladies of the night, so their scent is stronger in the evening.

Lingernot can't help himself but relate the sights he'd seen in the garden. Poor Martha and Jay, they love being indoors.

I love the stone kids Jaye!!! Those are the most adorable statues! Your garden flowers are an envy too!

Thanks Sheila, we're not blessed with children, so the gneaux'm clan surprised us with them.

Well it is sure good to see Lingernot had no side effects from his last night here. I was really worried about the little guy. What a wonderful tour he is getting at your home Jaye. I, too, love the children --such wonderful statues!!!

It's been very windy out there. So, he's been indoors and his axe is rusting!
Still acting the star, and why not, with all the travels he did, he had so much to tell.
Will contact next Auntie on the list. It will be a sad day for the clan and I when we have to bid farewell.

We did manage to take him out for a good supper.
It's prime rib tonight, at a local restaurant. May be a small town, but it has very good prime ribs. We suggested an end cut for Lingernot, with steamed veges and a side order of sweet potato.
We think the size of it scare the little fellow.

Before that rendezvous, he had his own rendezvous with more Gneaux'm family.
Here's Woody and Chane, telling Lingernot, the only way to tell the age of the tree is to count the rings.

Sugar and Spice are the keepers of the roses in the garden. Sugar loves the sweet smelling of hybrids, whereas Spice prefer the more exotic rich damasks, that smell of Arabian nights.

Lingernot's heart is consoled that Priscilla doesn't miss anything even though her eyesight is gone. I think he appreciates how the clan is very overprotective of her.
He is fascinated with Braille.

Sweet Gneaux'ms they are. Candy, Oreo and Chip are always sharing with the others...

But not Fudge. Fudge be fudged if you try to take one of his sweets away! Lingernot's surprised that there is one selfish Gneaux'm.
He advised Fudge to be careful with his sugar, diabetes knows everybody, especially the ones with a sweet tooth.

O boy! Leatherneck wondered if he could use Lingernot's axe for a perfect hole in one!!

Lingernot certainly has eaten well at your home Jaye. I am glad he visited with Pricillia and was interested in the braille. Which Aunt does he go visit next? Don't let him leave in really bad weather, he might get lost or hurt!!

Slowly, Gneaux'ms that like to stay in the kitchen got to be curious about him.
Chef and his wife Garlina tried to convince Lingernot that garlic is the magic food!
Ahhhhhh.. but don't breathe on anyone after you eat one, they said!

Tante Marion.... you are so right. Didn't think of the impending bad storms. Would be wise to wait so he will have a perfect journey.

Stu is a vegetarian. No meat for this fella. And his favorite vege is of course the celery.

Lingernot has heard of that fable, the old lady who lives in a shoe, but he's yet to meet a Gneaux'm that lives in a tennis shoe!!

No one told me that Lingernot is a linguist too!
He understood Ian perfectly with his deep Scottish brogue. And as for kilts, Lingernot is not convinced it's the most comfy attire!

And here are mini Mama Bubbles and Papa Buzz along with their kids, Darcy and Ernie. They are so charming to Lingernot, he want to scoop them up and bring them along on his next journey.

Oh, my did Lingernot ask Ian the age old question regarding the wearing of the kilt? Do they or don't they?

Scoop is the clan's ice-cream Gneaux'm. He's in demand during the hot days when the breeze can't cool them fast enough.

Lingernot finally meets the permanent guest of the clan.

Thistle is a wood spirit.

A Scottish wood spirit with the love for hiking which so many Scots have. Often when climbing the peaks of the Cairns gorans, he takes a pebble from a stream in the glen and leaves it on top of the mountain that he has climbed.
When many wood spirits do this over the years, a cairn for stone heap is formed.
He decides to retire in Jayeville and help Papa Gneaux'm with clan raising.

Well you have quite a group of clan members there Jaye!!! I notice that Leatherneck has a strange spirit in his beard!! Also I really love Scoop, how unusual he is! Definately an asset to your clan.
