I was picking seeds from my Black Kniolas a few min. ago and noticed that some had little worms. I tossed those but worry that there may be more just not big enough to notice yet.
I think I once saw a discussion on this forum a while back about putting seeds in the freezer to kill these things. I don't remember what the final outcome on it was. Can I do that without harming the seeds? And if I can will that kill the unhatched whatever these are?

freezing seeds
Ipomoea purpurea seeds can take freezing if they are fully dry, otherwise the freeze will kill the embryo...
The worms or grubs may be terminated by the freeze depending on what exact species is involved...
Try it and let us know how it worked...
