I'm sad to say that I my favorite petunias are under attack. I need help identifying what these little bugs are because the insectide I have isn't doing any good. (I'm using Triazicide insect killer). These bugs seem to be all shell. They leave a yellow circle when removed, as if they were sucking the green from the leaf.
Can you offer me any advice on how to remove these suckers? (pun intended) :)
Thanks so much for your help.

Have a look at that thread - those turned out to be petunia seeds!
That's what I was thinking.... but can't remember what color the seeds are...;(
That's too funny, I'm relieved and a little embarrassed. Thanks for your help! I'll try my luck at harvesting them -- there are thousands to choose from, oh boy.
