Winter Sown Corn?

Kawonkamish(Greetings),

I was wondering if it was possible to winter sow corn? I've only spring sown corn and would like to try winter sowing it. Has anyone here tried and if so how did it work out? What did you use for germinating planter and sowing medium, etc.?

I wasn't sure, so i checked a few places.

first I checked Tom Clothier's spread sheet, and he had it listed.
then i googled it, and it does seem you can WS veggies, and for corn, it mentioned choosing a corn that germinates at lower temperatures.

I've WS'ed tomatoes and they worked out well.
