I have tried and tried for the last four months to handle this.
I have taken them to the vet, they are "clear" of UTI's. I have cleaned with Natures Miracle. Gotten more litterboxes, and bigger ones. I have put feliway in....and I swear by that.
But to no avail.
We have seven cats, as many of you know. They are all spayed /neutered. Youngest is 2 1/2 oldest is almost 9. Three girls DaisyMay, Lexi & Rory. Boys are Toby, Franky, Dexter and Huck.
The last four months, the girls....who have never gotten along from day one...have started fighting more and more. And peeing all over the house. On anything they can get from clean clothes in basket, dirty clothes, papers, mail, shoes....you name it. Poor Rory, when she gets attacked by Daisy....she runs...and is so scared...she urinates while running! Not fun to clean up or easy. Daisy seems the biggest terror....but it is all of them doing the damage.
And then there is Toby. He has had bladder issues from day 1 of his rescue. He is on a medication to help him....but...he still has his issues. Today I walked in the kitchen, and he had pee'd in the muffin pan! Oh yes...right in the little cup! He will urinate in any container....mostly one that is meant to hold water....their water...the dogs water...a cup left on the counter! It is horrible.
I can't have anyone over to the house as this is so embarrasing....and no matter how much I clean, the smell is overwhelming. And this is summer time with the windows open. I can't even imagine the winter when it gets closed up.
My next alternative DH said is to put them in the basement....or in the dog crate with the litter boxes. I really don't want to do that....but this is not liveable.
PalmBob, Laurie, Debi....anyone....HELP!
