Very pretty blooms Helena. I love the first one with the butterfly.

Ooooooooooh! I agree they are ALL beautiful! I love the colors of the blooms with the butterfly nectaring from it! The pink one is very, very nice too! :-)

Thanks Jackie and Becky. It just happened to go in when I snapped the picture, I have a few pictures of those bumble bees pollinating the blooms too.

Almost missed this bloom today but I just can't seem to get a good pic.

Not sure if this is blue swirl or Star of India.

Nice blooms Helena

Helena - I am still hoping that you get some variety to your LYK. It's a lovely color! I was hoping it would throw out more interesting patterns. Though it still might, since this is still a fairly young vine.

I just love the very last photo you posted above! Half white/half pink and it looks like it may have a blizzard pattern to it as well! Very, very nice! But what can I say ... ALL of yours look beautiful!

Thanks Jackie & Becky. This is the same rose silk or chocolate that you asked about Becky. I'm going to fertilize it with the stinky stuff & bloom booster to see if it gets more colors on my LYK.

Becky forgot to say that the pink & white blizzard from Emmas seed is very nice. It also throws pink & white stripes on some blooms.

FujiShibori is almost finished blooming.

LYK is still having the same kind of blooms, we'll see after fertilizing. I think I'm going to start another seed going.

Helena - The LYK was crossed with sunsmiles (dark pink) like yours and that is probably showing up as a dominate gene on your vine. I am still hopeful that it might throw some variations in there, but it may not afterall. I really expected the yagurma gene to be dominate. But maybe not or maybe it will skip a generation. If you collect seeds from this one, please share a couple with me. I want to grow it out and see if the 3rd generation might do something exciting. That's the thing about MGs ... they are often very unpredictable when it comes to crosses. Is your vine a climber or a trailing vine? If you don't mind, could you please show a photo of the vine itself with the leaves? I'd like to see what form it is taking.

Your FujiShibori and Pink Silk are just amazing!!! Lots of pretty pinks!!!

Beautiful blooms Helena.

Thanks Jackie and Becky. That interesting that LYK was crossed with Sunsmiles. I grew some last year, this year I only had violet & 2 others. I have one seed pod on the vine now so it will be interesting to see what happens next year and to see the blooms from the others.

Becky, Sent you a D-mail.
