CLOSED: Spider

Burritts Rapids, Canada

This spider photo was taken at 8h15, Sept 9th 08 at Burritts Rapids in Canada close to the shore of the Rideau river. Can anyone identify it?

It could be Argiope trifasciata, although the stripes look very yellow on yours.

Yours does have the red colour on the legs from what I can see, comparing to other Argiope species it looks the nearest.
