Has anyone experimented with seed ball gardening? I understand it is used in guerrilla gardening and for natural areas too. Please tell me what you do or what you know about it.

I have just read about it for the 1st time, but it sounds interesting. I have also heard of people filling water balloons with seed and then "bombing" an area they wanted to plant. I think I may try it both ways...
