Sorry folks...no photo here. The wife snatched the specimen up in a hurry. I was bitten last night by a small white spider(just smaller, or near the size of a dime) last night. It had a very narrow spear shape (may have been narrow enough to call it a stripe) on it's back extending from the rear to the head. It moved fast and I had not seen it's type before (I've lived in this area for 30 years). Within 20 minutes of the bite I suffered severe lower abdominal pain, diarrhea, and muscle weakness. My head feels thick almost as if I had been drugged. I live in a tundra/ desert region of south eastern washington state. Any clues as to the spider?
Thanks so much.
CLOSED: Bitten and curious!
One possibility is a sac spider (family Miturgidae) in the genus Cheiracanthium - see http://www.canadianarachnology.org/data/spiders/23333
