CLOSED: Is this even an insect?

Yongin, South Korea

Taken last weekend in Korea... it was sticking to the glass. There were lots of them. Any ideas?

Could you see any wings? What size was it? There is some resemblance to a mayfly, but a dorsal view would be helpful.

I don't think I saw any wings... and this is the only pic I have.
I think the size was less than half a centimeter excluding the antannaes.

Was there a stream or other permanent water source nearby?

Wow! you read my mind... there was a stream(unclean) right beside. Maybe that's why there were so many sticking to the glass.

The immature stages (naiads) of mayflies are aquatic, which must emerge from the water in order to complete their metamorphosis to adults. Although having a stream nearby increases the likelihood that your creatures could be mayflies, these insects usually are intolerant of polluted water. Should you encounter any more of these, please try to photograph them from the outside as well; that should make identification easier.
