I tried these for fun. I had given up on them because it had been 2 or 3 months. As I started to dump them I saw some green on one of them. Now I have 7 sprouted out of 30 or so. They are so cute.

some cycads take up to 2 years. It was the end of the second year when I realized the squirrels were eating them up in their first week. Those little buggers took the seed and covered up the hole.

That's too funny. Be careful with the seeds around dogs, I've read they are poisonous to them.
