sago palm seedlings

I tried these for fun. I had given up on them because it had been 2 or 3 months. As I started to dump them I saw some green on one of them. Now I have 7 sprouted out of 30 or so. They are so cute.

Here is the whole container.

I love them!! They are slow growers,but they are worth it.

some cycads take up to 2 years. It was the end of the second year when I realized the squirrels were eating them up in their first week. Those little buggers took the seed and covered up the hole.

LOL.. Sorry, your post made me chuckle. Them squirrels can be a real pain somedays. Gues s they thought they had out smarted you.

That's too funny. Be careful with the seeds around dogs, I've read they are poisonous to them.
