When an oak tree was damaged in our yard, we dug up sedum prior to the tree-felling and place them in a large container outdoors.
Originally they were planted under the oak tree on a south facing hillside with late afternoon sun.
The Sedum grew slowly to medium size there. This spot now is in full sun all day. Will planting here again be wise?
Our yard is very large and we can choose almost any area, but need good advice as to where to place the sedum now.
All help is more than welcome, thanks

Replanting Showy Stonecrop Autum Joy Sedum
I'm sorry we didn't notice your post earlier. This forum is for questions about the PlantFiles database, and isn't monitored by very many people. In the future, you would get better results if you post to any of the other forums.
Anyway, to answer your question, your Sedum 'Autumn Joy' will do just fine in full sun, as that is what they actually like. Here's a link to that entry in PlantFiles: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/51498/
