Horse Missing in the Phoenix Az Area
Ever since I first saw this post.. I started checking Craig's list whenever I go on to look for tools, building materials, etc... I responded to 2 different ads for a mare her age to have them send pics. Just in case..
I hope all goes well in court and you get her back soon. I'm sure she misses you just as much.
We are holding good thoughts that she will return to you soon.

No news, she wont remember who she gave her to and the judge posponed the case since she is counter suing for the cost of feed and boarding. It is a mess, and all I want is my horse back. I hold on to a small glimmer of hope that she will return, but I still have her son and will be forever greatful for the time that Jes and I shared....

Why didn't she just return the horse instead of boarding her? Then giving her away for no compensation? Makes no sense whatsoever!!! With any luck, the judge will laugh her out of court!! And empty her pockets on the way!!

Some people are a waste of skin IMHO.
And they complain about cows contributing to global warming...
at least cows are useful.
I believe in what goes around comes around.... She has a right to counter sue me, but now what the judge deciedes to do will be the final answer. It is frustrating to see her at horse events here in town, but for Billys sake I cant start something. I want to so badly give her a piece of my mind and my boot, but it would only make things worse. So I do the cowboy thing and walk away like Jay says.... ++hack--spit++
Did you get your veterinarians testimony? I know it's your word against hers, but it sure seems to me the more witnesses on your side, the better.
It's almost worth taking up chaw to be able to spit on her boots, ain't it? LOL

Patchouli78 Anyone can countersue anyone to clutter up the court system, long story short, I borrowed her a horse, we shook hands it would come back to me, she sold it and now it is gone.
Just like if I was taking care of someone's chickens, believe it or not, I could charge them room and board, any vet fees or other out of pocket monies I spent on them... Old laws on the books since the 1800 when Arizona became a state...
Sorry, I was trying to clarify the situation. I was not sure if you actually owed them board, or they were pulling some ridiculous bolonge.

Country Gardens, in the state of Az it still has old laws on the books and you can be hung for stealing a horse, but prolly go to jail for a long time if the owner of the horse can prove you stole it.. That is not my case though... I still love my state it is the old west coming alive again...
Yeah, the point(s) here in this sad tragedy are...
never loan an animal without a written contract
find out what passes for proof of ownership of livestock in your state
there are some real low-down, two-faced, dead-hearted slimeballs in the world

The Japanese have a word -"reverse-side teacher" Someone who teaches you what you DON'T want to be or do....If her kids learn to hate the way she lives and hate the choices she makes then they will have learned the right way to hate, to my way of thinking.
