CLOSED: please help me identify

i have like 50 of these spiders outside my house. they are in the siding to my house and under my shutters and in the porch steps. they range from penny sized to half dollar sized. please tell me if they are harmful cause i looked online for identification and found nothing.i live in massachussetts usa if that helps. here is a pic of a dead one.

Not poisonous. They must have lots of insects to eat in those locations.

Judging from the prominent spinnerets, this could be a funnel web/grass spider (family Agelenidae). See http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/funnel_spiders_agelenidae for some representative images. Large specimens, particularly in the genus Tegenaria, can give a painful bite if mishandled.

yes actually ceejaytown they do have alot of insects here. and thanks for telling me they aren't poisonous. and thankyou too suunto for telling me what kind u think it is and for telling me that it has a bad bite.

ok i have another pic and this is another spider i'm assuming it's the same type. also if anyone else has ideas about what it might be feel free to chime in. oh yeah their webs are not circular it's like a cob web like a soft sticky sheet. they also have been putting dried leaves in them. weird.
