Hello everyone,
Does anyone have experience to share with a novice gardener seeking to germinate his first (and most assuredly not last) round of catnip seeds? I.e., any tips, tricks, pitfalls, ins, outs, etc. etc. that may prove to be of any help, is most enthusiastically welcomed.
Thank you in advance and happy gardening.

Germinating Capnip Seeds
My experience is they're a bit temperamental.
I germinate mine on a piece of wet paper towel placed in a sandwich baggie. Don't seal all the way leave a portion open for air, keep moist.
It takes 3 to 7+ days for them to sprout. Transfer to potting medium once you see the tap root forming.
Try to space out the seeds on the paper towel so that you can tear them apart without disturbing their neighbor once they sprout. Don't try to remove the paper, just gently tear around the sprout and plant, paper and all.

From bought seeds or collected from plant?
Responding to Zhinu,
I purchased the seeds from a retailer.
Thanks,
M.
