I hope I got the number right this time, sorry about the confusion of back to back HWYD 91's..LOL
Life is still in the slow lane around here, I managed to get out and do some watering yesterday and was appalled at how much has been taken over by weeds already..where do they come from? The garden areas are so nice and clean when I start in the spring but you turn your back just once and BANG..!! you look again and there they are ..weeds and grasses knee-high. Then its a never ending battle to try to get rid of them.
Swelling is finally starting to go down, now all I need is for the numbness in the lower left side of the face to go away. I really am tired of biting on my bottom lip while trying to eat. DH took me to WalMart last week for a few things but other than that, I have been home bound. Course the cats are all thrilled to death to have me here where they can pester me all day.
I have been trying to keep up with everyone's activities but I seem to be forgetting more than I am remembering these days, so know that I am laughing, crying, commiserating with all of you.
Bonnie, I will mention that I am happy to hear you made it back home okay. We are looking forward to getting some of that rain this time. Looks like it (Gustav) will be heading our way once it hits Texas. I also read this a.m. that it seems to have lost some strength so hopefully any damage in La. will be kept to a minimum. I will go turn on the tv as soon as I amoff here to try catch up on the latest news.
Another picture of Mister. He is such a good cat, I am so happy to have him around. Everytime I pull into the driveway, before I can get out of the car, he jumps up and wants in the window. There we sit..thats our 'close' time....such a sweety he is.
