Anybody know what type this is? It landed on the laundry while on the line at my parents' home in Nova Scotia. I don't think I've seen one like this here in Iowa, although it might be here too.

I would say it's a Mosaic Darner species, there are 20 similar ones and a side view helps narrow it down. Do you happen to have a side view?
Unfortunately this was the only shot before it took off. But the Mosaic Darner species ID helps narrow it down. I'll look up which ones are in Nova Scotia. Thanks!
