I woke up this morning shivering under the blanket and when I checked the thermometer it was 38 degrees at 6am.Now that's not really cold up here in this neck of the woods but after all the warm weather we have had the past few weeks it felt like 20 below.Tonight it is also supposed to be in the thirties.DH and I took a ride to Rangely, Maine today and the Maple leaves are already turning red, a sure sign that cold weather will soon be coming.My Hummingbirds will probably leave this week. It's too soon.I just want a few more weeks of summer.Whaaaaaa!!! I don't want winter to come.

We have had about 3 days that got down into the 30's here in northern michgan. First average frost is the 15th :(

40s heere in the mts of PA. I wanted to turn on the furnace and found out i needed oil first. On my way out to get some kerosene before evening. Also the birds are not singing in the mornings as much .

Went to a friends for a bbq last night, had to wear jeans and a sweatshirt :(
