Spotted these Wild Turkeys at a long distance, with the sun in the wrong position, but it the first pics I've got o wild Turkeys. I've seen them before on several occasions at different locales but this is the first time I've had a camera handy.

Pelle, I certainly appreciate and thank you for the valuable info/links you provided in reference to the baby Finch I found in my yard!!

After numerous phone calls I did in fact get in touch with a Wildlife Center that connected me with a wildlife rehab person. After I described the baby bird's condition to the rehab rep, she informed me that many finches are experiencing an eye condition called "conjunctivitis." She kindly welcomed me to take the bird to her home as she was taking care of another Finch with the same problem, however, because of the distance/time involved in getting to her residence, she advised an alternate solution and connected me to an emergency vetinary care center that would take in the bird and care for it with antibiotics free of charge, as this was a wild bird. I was amazed how many specialists this Vet center had and felt the bird was in good hands when I left it there. Snug

That's really nice. My finches have conjunctivitis lots in the winter. I haven't seen a bad eye for many months now, so I'm surprised that your baby is infected.
