Wow . . . that's one IMPRESSIVE beetle!

Indeed! Really impressive and somewhat scary when you get hit by a flying one at night and you have no idea what hit you. At first I thought it was my neighbors delinquent kid playing with his slingshot til I heard it thump on the ground. They bounce good too.

Yes, I did! I just wish I knew how to maneuver all over the site! I'd like to post some pictures to the files. . . did it once, but have no idea HOW I did it!
It's a great site. I never realized how close I was to nature all around me until I started asking questions about everything I'd always just taken for granted. Then I found I actually even had answers for others in some cases, so now I keep my eyes open and my camera handy. Thanks for the welcome, Xeramtheum ! (Boy, that's a mouthful!)
