CLOSED: please help, what are these white dots/eggs???

This formerly was a beautiful four o'clock plant and now has a bunch of these things on a portion of the plant. I thought they were aphids, but after searching aphids on here.... I think maybe not. And if you know a great way to get rid of whatever it is, I'd appreciate the advice! Thank you!

Erin, you might try this forum since no one has given you an answer. I have 4 o'clocks but don't have that problem (yet).

Thank you Sheila! I'm rather new here and appreciate the direction. I went out of state for a week and didn't even check my plants for a few days after I got back.. Just like kids....no supervision and something goes wrong. hahahaha

Luck to you finding out what you have going on.
