This message was edited Aug 27, 2008 6:01 PM
I think I am going trade all my Sedums and Succulents as I dont really have a place for them. I will make a list this weekend.
Oh good...you know my compost only likes Starbucks! No problem for the frog fruit and pink rain lily. Actually I would love to try the Hillary’s Sweet Lemon Mint instead if it's still available.
Ummm...my trade list isn't in the collection of links? I am pretty sure I posted something somewhere even though it was only a few things...but then again right now my brain is fried...
:) Kim
Shelia, I will put you down for the dl's. May I have some of your obedient plants? I have one now and would love to have a grouping of them.
Charlene

Frostweed has the links posted at the top of this thread so you can find everyones list.
TexasLizzy...I would love one of the October Skies Asters, please check my list for something.
Thanks Anna, Lynea, and Charlene got you covered. I am waiting to post my pre trades until late tonight. I think I have used up my edits.

Pat your link is fixed, I think it has to do with the additional link inside your post.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kim I did find you list and added it to the top of this thread, sorry we missed it.
Josephine.
Thanks, Josephine. I have used the additional link for the last several RU's with no problem, but with computers, it's sometimes a mystery. All appears to be working fine now. Maybe tomorrow I won't have to ask you for repairs. :>)
Terry went in and fixed the problem with Kittylover's link. My directions to Kitty were a bit confusing, and Terry's fix was right on target. Sometimes action beats a thousand words!

Thanks!
Lizzy, I have added the link to your list to the top post as well.
Hi blue eyes,
I'm interested in your passionvine-incarnata. How big does it get? Is it invasive?
Is there anything on my list you would be interested in?
Dennis
akim...hi girl.. it will be so good to see you again!! Hope you are getting some relief from those tests!! GL!!
Jennifer.. Could you save me a hardy Hibiscus..yellow..please??
Patty... why do plant addictions give you that giddy, flushed, heart beating fast feeling??..lol...OHHH I luved some of your coleus!! Could I have cuttings of...Pink Chaos...Dappled Apple..NOID..Sedona..Alabama Sunset..Velvet Wizard Red..Christmas Candy..Golda.. please??BTW.. we have so many trees around here, I couldn't get any to root here in the house, but I am having pretty good luck by just putting them in dirt. ty for the info though.. I am always looking for ways to start plants!
Josephine
I noticed on one of the plant files that in 2006 you listed desmodium canadense (Showy tick trefoil) as a want. Were you ever able to get seeds of that plant. I've saved a few if you still need them. I'm still trying to find the pencil flower alias stylosanthes biflora.
Jameso
Beck, I think I already have you down for coleus? I didn't list all of the specific ones that people have asked for on here, but I have a list offline and will check when I get ready to pot them up. If I can't find it, which will probably happen, well, then, you'll just have to get all of them. :)
TexasLizzy, are you the Liz who came to Melva's in February? It'll be good to see you again. And, if you aren't, well, it'll be good to meet you.
Becky are you going ot tell them about your big BIG Sassafras for trade?
if not I am LOL
Everyone
beck5711
(Becky) Colmesneil, TX
(Zone 8b)
told me ............
OK.. you advertise... BIG Sassafras for trade..LOL otherwise it's going in my burn pile!!
I told her if nothing else she should make Sassafras tea to bring to the RU that there were some that liked it last year when I made some.
Anyone want to save the tree from her burn pile :-)
Becky, how big is that Sassafras tree?
James, good to hear from you, you are so thoughtful, no I did not find ti Treefoil, and yes I would love the seeds, is this the one you are talking about?

Josephine
Yes, I am the Liz at Melva's in Feb. It will good to put faces to names!
I will look over the trade lists - but I have plenty of what I posted so I will try to keep track so that everyone gets what they want!!!!!!
Dennis....the incarnata does pop up volunteers, but I just mow them over or pull them out. The butterflies love it, and it is a host plant for the gulf fritillary. I have had them all over my yard all summer.
Beck....thanks for the wishes! I have my last written exam tomorrow, and then it's a break until my big oral exam next Wed. I am surviving though!
:) Kim
Becky - I got you down for one of my Hardy Hibiscus (yellow) babies. We moved the seedlings to their own little pots last night & they still seem to be perky this morning. I couldn't believe how many roots had developed. I'm really hoping they stay strong & develop nicely by October.
Jennifer, could I have a lantana 'camara' and one of your yellow hibiscus babies (if you still have an extra)?
Sure thing Pat. I'll mark you down for the lantana 'camara' and a hibiscus baby. :)
Jennifer
Josephine
Yes that appears to be it. I have mine in a pot so I don't have as many flowers on the clusters. Everytime you get near it you walk away with seed pods stuck to your pants leg. I'll send some seeds and have my wife take pictures of the plant and blooms to send with it incase you want to recheck.
Jameso
Mibus2
Did you tell me at the Jacksonville trade that you had a lot of sassafras seedlings?
Jameso
Sheila, I have you down for 'Jesse's Song.' If I were allowed only one iris, it would be my choice. It is the first named iris to bloom for me every year and goes for three weeks or more without slowing down. Could I get another EE? The ones you gave me last year are doing great, but I am trying to fill a large area.
Liz, would you put my name on some of your salvia 'Blue Bedder' and aster 'October Skies'? Please check my list and see what I can bring for you.
Hey james ....yeah we have it coming up all over the place.
I know I am taking some to the Ru on the 11th in Tyler did ya want some too?
and will bring some to Arlington the 18th if needed
Jennifer, like Sheila said, I don't think you can kill ee's. My Illustris is new this year and has never lived outside my pond. However, the Black Magic has been in the ground until this year. It survived 8 days last August without any water. It will also live in the shade. But, it will get much bigger with lots of water, and much blacker with lots of sun.
Fantastic, thanks Pattie & Sheila - I can't wait for the new additions! Is October here yet??? :)
Mibus2
I'm not sure of my schedule for the plant trades. I was telling darkmoondreamer that I had to go to the valley for a week, I've got to be in Kansas City for 4 or 5 days for a reunion of the ship I was on in the navy, a high school reunion, got to keep my grandson since I'm the only one that will be free that weekend, and for sure the plant sale at the Lady bird Johnson Wildflower center. So right now I'm not sure of which dates are free.
The sassafras I got from you in Jacksonville didn't make it. However, I'm going to be in Frankston thursday I think. If there's a store near you I can drop off the orange juice I've got for you and pick up a couple of trees if that's not too much trouble.
Jameso
