I haven't been around much the last few weeks. It's been a very busy summer with houseguests & baby critters galore.
Here's a story of how saying "NEVER" bites you in the butt! (guess I better stop saying I'm never getting married again, huh?) I've said for years I would never have a Lab, so what do I do? Fall in love with a Lab-mix puppy we puppysat a couple of weeks ago, and now she's ours. lol My mom & I both fell in love with her sweet little personality, and with how smart she is. It's not that I don't like Labs - I know they're great dogs - I just can't deal with the energy level they have.
So, now that I have this adorable little bundle of energy, do any of you experienced with Labs have any tips for me that work especially well for them? I want her to be an assistance dog for us. (Mom is 71 with bad arthritis & I'm 51 with lung disease)
