Some More Plumie Pics

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

My other picture thread is getting a bit long so I thought I would start a new one to show what is blooming. I'm short on time so I'll just upload a few now and do the rest later.

This is 'Bali Whirl,' one of my favorites for fragrance.

'Barry's True Orange' is starting to bloom. This pictures was taken with a flash. It's hard to capture that orange in the right light. I'll have to take another one as soon as more buds open.

Another one of Barry's. I think he might be calling it 'Barry's Tricolor' now. It has a very strong 'Kauka Wilder' fragrance that I love.

Wow what a great show very nice! Awesome colors! Mine look like they have been dragged behind the car. Cut all those leaves for nothing they projected the eye to come with in a block of my place. We were very lucky did not even get a quarter inch of rain had some heavy winds thanks God no rain. Gold coast Peachy with 6 petals! There was a pretty red in the background in full bloom it was a eye catcher for sure thanks Clare

Thanks, Dana! Sorry about your leaves! They should grow back quickly for you. I'm glad you had no problems from the nearby hurricane. Yeah, Gold Coast Peachy with six petals! I've had a few this season with six petals. Here's another one below. That red in the background is actually a related family member: oleander!

Great pictures Clare, you sure are getting the blooms.

Plumiedelphia, PA(Zone 7a)

Awesome as always Clare
Im curious if Bali whirl holds its buds for you.
Mine open and then fall off shortly after
I love the odd shape as I do Quandamookas also but they seem so frail.
Id like to know what your experience (in short, HA!) is with Bali holding her blooms for any time.

Thanks, Hetty and Michael. You guys have awesome blooms too^_^

Michael, I think my blooms are falling off fairly quickly as well this year, but I'll start to pay more attention and let you know for sure. It seems that they lasted longer last year.

Clare - I love the shape of the Samoan Fluff's petals. The question is how does it smell.

Thanks, Karma.

Michael, I've been watching my 'Bali Whirl' blooms, and they seem to be lasting the normal time. If you have early bloom drop, try more water or maybe a dose of fertilizer.
