Advice please on which tree to plant?

I need a quick growing, evergreen, good camouflage tree to conceal an ugly utility pole. I don't want a tree which will stop plants from growing underneath it. I live in north east Ohio. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

How tall do you want the tree to grow? Also if you plant it close to the pole the utility company will keep it trimmed back.
I have a BlueBird and tree swallow box I hung on my pole. You could also hang a squirel nesting box. Just a thought.

Very practical advice. Thank you. The pole is 30' feet high - an ugly monster. Will utility company allow me to plant a vine?
