I'm thinking of starting some seeds. It's been so hot and dry here mine haven't done so well. Now that it's starting to cool down (only mid to low 90's as opposed to over 100) I thought I'd try it again. We likely will not get a frost till late Nov. So the question is...in general....how long from seed plant to flower? Do I have time?

quick question
Anne,
I am also still starting seeds in my 8a zone - so go for it!
Getting your first blooms depends on the species, but generally less than 60-Days.
Just feed them Fish Emulsion and Bloom Booster to help them take off faster.
Also, germinating your seeds before they go in the ground will speed up the process too.
