These caterpillars are turning hibiscus leaves into nets. Can anybody please tell me what they are? If they are butterfly caterpillars, I will keep them there. At the moment, they are a bit less than half an inch in length. Thanks.

They're Hibiscus Sawfly larvae. If you grow hollyhocks, they'll go after them too. Big pest.
