This was in my backyard (by my in progress pond). It caught my eye because it was hugeabout 3-4 in wing span.

If you look at the threads here you'll see you have LOTS of company starting ID threads here lol. Not sure why the ID forum is hard to find, but I guess it is. Great moth by the way!

It's probably hard to find because it's Bug Files and Insect and Spider ID.

The name was changed to Insect and Spider ID only a few weeks ago; it had been "Bug and Insect ID". There have always been lots of ID posts here, look at the threads.
