Sorry I'm late too. But perhaps this will help: you will be the first one to see this L. fargesii. By no means a perfect specimen as it bloomed on nary a 14 inch stalk (way short to be normal), but a rather rare species in the horticultural world.

Thanks guys! Lefty, I'm honored! That is a beautiful lily and being a bit vertically challenged myself I don't mind in the least that it's a bit on the short side. :) LOL

Leftwood that is just beautiful !!!!!!!

I should have tried to do some touching up first. It is actually more lime green than the pic shows.

Maxine, I am looking for the name of that lily, I think it is a seedling and only has a number. Things have been a little crazy around here for the past week or so.

Lefty, looks pretty limey to me............................. OH, did I mention I just ruined another keyboard with drool!

Greenwood, IN(Zone 5b)

Happy birthday, Diann! Always such a nice person. Hope you had a good one. I am sorry I am so late - haven't been on much.

Thanks Steve, it was pretty good. :)

Well, here's another Birthday wish from me! Ticker :) I had wished you a HP on your thread on your BD, but you probably missed it, my computer had given up at the time and I couldn't post any pics.

Lefty, glad to see you got the real L. fargesii, one I really, really want! They are short anyway. I think some of my seedlings come close though, perhaps I can save myself some agony? Lol, as if.

L. majoense did have a lovely flower again this year, just one, but it has started to grow another shoot. With my seedlings, should have plenty before long!

Wow Wallaby, that photo is framing worthy. You really should have it printed off and frame it for your house. It is just gorgeous! and thanks for the second birthday wish!

Thanks Ticker, maybe it has a little too much sun glare, so difficult in sun or no sun and getting uder it, lol.

This one on a dull day, not sure which I prefer!

I like the first one better. It just seems to shimmer a bit more. :)

Oh yeah! :) Lovely, just lovely and very photo worthy too! :) Such beauty, alas, my lilies are nothing more than a memory for the most part....
